Olympic Training and Consulting (OTC)

Olympic Training & Consulting Ltd. (OTC) provides vocational training, lifelong learning, social interventions to vulnerable people, counselling, business advising and similar services since 1995, at national and European level.

The company operates nationwide and currently employs 10 people. Promoting investment into human resources towards faster vocational and entrepreneurial development, as well as combating social exclusion, is among the main aims of OTC. Towards this target, the development and/or dissemination of innovative educational methods, along with applied research in the field of adult education and the active promotion of new technologies in professional and everyday life, are systematically employed.

At the national level, a part of the key activities of OTC is the design, development, and implementation of vocational training for the unemployed and integrated programs for the combat of social exclusion from the labour market. At the same time, OTC offers specialized training to self-employed, enterprises, and trainers. Another significant activity of OTC is the design and provision of a variety of services aiming at the support of entrepreneurship and professional development, including but not limited to those focused on the provision of career counselling and business counselling to all interested clients. Another large-scale field of activity is the implementation of projects and initiatives funded with support from various national and EU financial instruments. The organization of conferences, seminars, and exhibitions is a regular part of our communication and dissemination strategy. OTC has an extensive network of cooperating enterprises from all sectors – a regular cooperation with more than 40 associations, entrepreneurs’ local and regional representation bodies and chambers, and more than 1,000 direct cooperations with entrepreneurs. Additionally, OTC collaborates with more than 200 adult trainers for the implementation of its training activities. Over 25,000 trainees have profited so far from the services provided by OTC.

Through extensive participation in European and transnational projects, OTC has gained significant experience in designing, coordinating and implementing various types of interventions, such as training programs, integrated social interventions, consulting services, networking and dissemination activities on European level, with main fields of expertise: training approaches embedded within a comprehensive reform strategy for the up-skilling and re-skilling of employees so as to stay relevant in the era of digital transformation, intercultural mediation, diversity management, entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship and develop the horizontal skills (e.g. soft and resilience) for professionals and/or newcomers in the labor market. All services developed by OTC are in compliance with the standards of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013.

Maria Teresa Papagiannopoulou

Project Manager and Researcher

Maria Teresa Papagiannopoulou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences with additional training in Pedagogy and Didactics. With 20 years of experience as an R&D Executive in training and consulting, she has contributed to the design and implementation of over 70 national and 20 EU-funded projects. Her expertise spans training program development, project management, and quality assurance, making her a key figure in advancing the goals of the GenAISA project.

Polyxeni Kontodiakou

Senior Expert and Researcher

Polyxeni Kontodiakou is a social anthropologist with an MA in Continuing Education and over 13 years of experience in vocational education and training (VET). She specializes in designing, implementing, and evaluating adult education programs, including training for vulnerable groups such as long-term unemployed individuals and immigrants. Her expertise spans diverse fields, including entrepreneurship, digital skills, and human resource management. Polyxeni also brings significant experience in developing training methodologies and content tailored to various delivery modes, including online, face-to-face, and blended learning approaches, enriching the GenAISA project with her versatile skill set.

Despoina Kontorizou

Expert and Researcher

Despoina Kontorizou is an economist with a Diploma in Environment & Development and an MSc in Education. With 13 years of experience across private and public sectors, she has managed and coordinated numerous EU-funded projects, including roles in NGOs, the Institute of Educational Policy, and the University of the Aegean. Her expertise includes financial management, project coordination, and overseeing KA1 projects for the Hellenic National Agency for Erasmus+. Despoina has a strong focus on promoting sustainable development, equal opportunities, and fundamental rights, contributing valuable perspectives to the GenAISA project.

Vasileios Lampros

Technical Personnel

Vasileios Lampros holds a Diploma in Business Communication and an MSc in Marketing, along with certification as a GDPR Data Protection Officer. Since 2014, he has worked as an information manager, specializing in implementing and maintaining ERP, CRM, and online learning platforms tailored for vocational training and consulting. With expertise in IT applications for education and e-learning content development, Vasileios supports the online promotion and technical execution of programs like GenAISA.

Spyridon Zafeiropoulos

Senior Expert and Researcher

Spyridon Zafeiropoulos holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Patras, an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham, and an MA in Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning from the Open University of Cyprus. With over 20 years of professional experience, he has worked as an IT consultant, project manager, associate professor, and adult educator. His expertise includes IT, career counseling, and research, with a focus on EU-funded projects. Spyridon brings a wealth of knowledge to GenAISA, contributing to its innovative and educational objectives.

Adelais Papagiannopoulou

Junior Expert and Researcher

Adelais Papagiannopoulou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA specializing in Digital Governance and Transformation. With expertise in quality assurance, financial planning, and data analysis, she has extensive experience in stakeholder management, customer interaction, and enterprise management. Since 2015, Adelais has been actively involved in monitoring training activities, contributing her organizational and analytical skills to the success of initiatives like GenAISA.
