This year\u2019s event is organized by <strong>HETEL<\/strong>, supported by the <strong>Euskaltel Foundation<\/strong>, and in collaboration with <strong>Mondragon Unibertsitatea (MU)<\/strong> and the <strong>University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU)<\/strong>. Among the participants, <strong>Politeknika Txorierri<\/strong> will take an active part in the programme, exploring the latest developments in the integration of <strong>Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Generative AI and Moodle: Towards a More Personalized Learning Experience<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The central theme of this year\u2019s edition is <strong>\u201cMoodle and Artificial Intelligence in Education,\u201d<\/strong> with a strong focus on the <strong>emerging role of generative AI<\/strong> in transforming teaching and learning. As AI tools become more accessible and sophisticated, Moodle is evolving to incorporate functionalities that support personalized, automated, and enriched educational experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>keynote presentation<\/strong> will be delivered by <strong>Amaia Anabitarte and Sara Arjona<\/strong> from <strong>MoodleHQ<\/strong>, who will demonstrate how recent Moodle versions include <strong>generative AI features<\/strong>\u2014such as writing assistants, automated content analysis, question generation, and personalized feedback\u2014that enhance teaching effectiveness and free up time for meaningful pedagogical engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Generative AI as a Pedagogical Ally<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the featured speakers, <strong>Egoitz Etxeandia<\/strong>, founder of <strong>AIEDUtech<\/strong> and member of <strong>Teach For All<\/strong>, will present the session <strong>\u201cGenerative Artificial Intelligence: An Ally for Education.\u201d<\/strong> His talk will explore how this technology can be embedded into daily classroom practice\u2014from creating adaptive teaching materials and generating interactive assessments to automating tutoring and support\u2014always grounded in ethical and educational principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Etxeandia\u2019s session will invite educators to reflect on the transformative potential of generative AI, while also highlighting the importance of adopting it critically and responsibly in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beyond Technology: Building a Transformative Community<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to AI-focused presentations, the event will offer talks and workshops on key topics such as mentoring through Moodle, innovative assessment methods, and the use of remote desktops for digital learning.
