El consorcio GenAISA se reúne en Derio, España, para la tercera reunión del proyecto

On 26–27 November 2025, the GenAISA consortium met in Derio, Spain, for the project’s third transnational meeting, hosted by Politeknika Txorierri. Partners from across Europe gathered at the campus in Derio, while additional participants joined online, for two days of focused collaboration, planning, and technical exchange. The meeting marked an important milestone as the project moves from content development toward integration and preparing the grounds for long-term impact.

Strengthening Curricula and New Training Pathways

The first day opened with discussions led by RMIT Europa on emerging Generative AI job profiles and the design of microcredenciales within the project’s curriculum framework. Partners reviewed how the training materials developed so far — for both VET and Higher Education — align with new AI-driven professions identified earlier in the project, such as Prompt Engineer and Generative AI Application Developer.

This session helped refine how learning pathways will support real labour market needs, ensuring that the GenAISA curriculum remains future-oriented and aligned with ESCO-mapped competences.

Advancing the Digital Skills Passport and Virtual World

The consortium had the chance to get a first glimpse of the design of the GenAISA Virtual World — an immersive environment intended to support hands-on experimentation with generative AI tools.

Following this, ABODOO y ESI shared updates on the development of the Pasaporte de competencias digitales and its integration with the Moodle learning platform. This tool will enable learners to track their achievements, micro-credentials, completed modules, and AI-related competencies across different learning contexts.

Reviewing MOOC Courses for VET, HE, and Resilience

A key part of the first day focused on reviewing the online courses that will form the GenAISA MOOC. All course creators worked jointly on evaluating the draft modules for:

  • Higher Education (HE)
  • Educación y Formación Profesional (EFP)
  • Resilience and AI readiness

Partners discussed structure, content coverage, alignment with job profiles, and next steps toward finalisation. This collaborative review ensures consistency across courses and prepares them for integration into the Digital Skills Passport and MOOC platform.

Preparación para pilotos y pruebas

Politeknika Txorierri outlined the preliminary plan for pilot implementation, which are planned for late 2026. This phase will be critical for validating the course materials and refining them based on real-world use.

Management, Quality, and Sustainability

UPATRAS provided important project management updates, reviewing deliverables, and mapping priorities for the coming six months, and presenting the ew project officer from EACEA

This was followed by DIGITAL SME, presenting approaches to integrate sustainability dimensions into teaching materials, dissemination, and long-term exploitation. This included input from all partners, who share their ideas for further exploitation of project deliverables.

Quality Assurance and Risk Review

cuerpos de cadetes militares delivered an overview of the project’s Quality Assurance, ongoing evaluation activities, and an updated review of the risk register. This monitoring ensures that development progresses smoothly and that any emerging challenges are addressed early.

Dissemination, Communication, and Future Planning

The meeting continued with a session led by RCCI, outlining progress on dissemination and communication activities, including recent articles, outreach campaigns, and next steps for promoting the GenAISA framework across Europe. The promotional video for the project was also presented and approved by the consortium.

The University of Patras then presented the calendar of upcoming activities and a reminder of key deadlines, followed by scheduling discussions for future project meetings.

The meeting concluded with an open session for additional questions, reflections, and evaluation from all partners.
